Yewlands Academy aims to strengthen student leadership by hosting its first Election to appoint Head Students and House Captains, who will champion the student wellbeing agenda.
To support families, the academy plans to send wellbeing resources directly to parents and use social media to provide ongoing guidance and support. British Values will be reinforced through the leadership elections, deepening students' sense of belonging and engagement.
A termly wellbeing calendar will be introduced for staff, offering concessionary memberships and wellbeing-focused events.
