Thomas Wall Nursery and Robin Hood Infants' School federated in September 2007. We share a site and in joining together, we have created a very large early years unit, including an assessment unit for nursery-aged children with complex communication difficulties. We are a community School located Centrally in the London Borough of Sutton. We currently have 263 pupils on roll of which 50.9% are EAL, 12.5% in receipt of Pupil premium and 13.3% SEND. In the Nursery we have 112 pupils on roll, of which 43%are EAL and 23% SEND. Robin Hood Infants has recently, March 2021, been rated as 'Good' by OFSTED.
School goals and ambitions
The emotional wellbeing and positive mental health of the children at the Federation of Thomas Wall Nursery and Robin Hood Infants is a priority for us all and supporting the children to effectively manage their feelings and well being is at the heart of all we do. This helps the children have self belief and confidence and become successful learners.
Our aim, during this award journey, is to celebrate all that we do in supporting the mental wellbeing of our pupils and to develop further with new initiatives and ideas so that we are providing the very best and giving pupils all the tools that they need to harness their 'Learning Powers' as underpinned by our curriculum.
