School context
Ayscoughfee Hall School is an independent co-educational primary school and kindergarten for children aged 3 to 11 years. It is a one form entry school with small class sizes of around 20 children, Currently there are 115 children on role. The school is located in the centre of Spalding in the heart of rural Lincolnshire with the catchment for the school consisting of local children as well as children who travel in from other local villages and towns. Currently we have 5% of SEND children including 1 child as part of a TAC. As we are an independent school we do not register for the Government FSM scheme.
School goals and ambitions
At Ayscoughfee Hall School we are extremely proud of the stimulating, challenging and vibrant learning environment that we provide. Our children are well nurtured, highly motivated, confident and happy and this is due to the staff ensuring they constantly provide a caring pastoral system and a rounded academic curriculum.
Through our work towards the Gold wellbeing award we are excited to evaluate our current practices and are extremely keen to highlight areas where we can improve and develop. We are hoping to work collaboratively as staff, children, parents and Governors of AHS to ensure we fulfill our selected intentions and that we can show maximum impact for our school.

Impact school context
As a school we have been extremely pleased with the journey we have been on since starting our work for this wellbeing award and since we have started implementing features for each benchmark. The changes that have taken place in our school are really significant and it is very pleasing that emotional health and wellbeing now have such a higher priority, and are now such a huge focus across the whole school. The school is proud that this extremely important area now has a higher status and is more commonly discussed and addressed through such a wide range of events and activities. The changes that have occurred have effected and impacted on everyone at AHS; the children, staff and parents.
