The Granville School-TN13 3LJ

Pupils’ well-being has always been an important feature of Pastoral Care at The Granville. With an increasing incidence of mental health issues in primary age pupils being reported nationwide, we wanted to make sure that our curriculum reflected this worrying trend. After a successful two year trial of the Australian based Positive Education curriculum with years 5 and 6, we are now rolling out the programme with timetabled lessons to the whole school for the academic year 23/24. We are hoping that the Gold Award will both guide us in our aim to improve pupil wellbeing in our school, as well as recognise the important work that has already taken place.
