School context
We serve 1,022 pupils and, while located in an affluent area of Warrington, a significant proportion of its students face considerable challenges. Specifically, 37% come from deprived areas and qualify for ENCOP funding, 37% are eligible for free school meals, and 27% have SEND. Additionally, 16% of students are on the Safeguarding register, with many supported by Child Protection or Child in Need plans. The school also provides internal and external support for the 7.7% of pupils on the SEMH register who require social, emotional, and mental health interventions. The percentage of disadvantaged students has risen, PHS is now in the fourth national quintile for FSM eligibility.

To create a positive working environment where individuals can thrive. Our initiatives encourage open dialogue, access to support, healthy habits, and work-life balance. Through professional development and regular recognition, we value our staff and promote a positive culture.
