School goals and ambitions
To improve the quality of the school site as a resource for outdoor learning and to safely utilise its full potential. Initially to recruit an Outdoor Space Working Party to audit provision, identify priorities and to formulate an action plan for each. Consultation with students will be part of this.
Outdoor Learning will become an aspect of each school’s curriculum plan with its own pathway of opportunities and outcomes. Each school will have a distinctive flavour based around its cohort and their needs, offering extracurricular activities and a residential aspect. Track the progress of each student using the outcomes provided by the Institute for Outdoor Learning.
