Act Fast is a small Independent School based in North Lincolnshire, with 39 learners currently on our role. All our learners have SEMH needs with 71% having a confirmed EHCP. We currently have a 95% male and 5% female cohort. The age range is from 12-25 incorporating our F.E learners.
We have 38 members of staff, 52% identify as female and 48% as male.

School goals and ambitions
We have a very strong ethos of staff and student wellbeing and this is an integral part of timetabled and extra curricular sessions. As a school we strive to set very high standards and become leaders within our field, understanding the wider concepts of wellbeing for both staff and learners will help us achieve this. Our enthusiastic staff will embrace this knowledge and support others to do so. I would like the school and its ambassadors to receive the accolation they deserve.

Impact school context
Since identifying the possibilities of the Gold Award staff have reflected on what we do and have shown real pride in themselves and the school as a whole. This reflection has been invaluable.
Having a focus on procedure and impact will avoid wasted time on completing unnecessary tasks and ensure ease of audit and tracking. Using our MIS system to its full capabilities provides a centralisation of information avoiding repeated information and work.
The staff support, including wellbeing has really grown having real impact on the learner experience. Where therapies have been tried, staff now relate their experiences which has reassured learners who may need to access those therapies.
