The evidence includes some excellent examples of provision but, unfortunately, no evidence of impact itself so I am, unfortunately, not able to accredit the school on this occasion.

We need something here to show how the changes you have made to timetabling etc have impacted on staff workload. E.g. an all staff survey and/or staff interviews or focus group discussion showing the impact on individuals - see the suggestions on the Awards website as well.

The wellbeing sessions look really interesting and diverse. It would be great if you can explain how you know that they have improved morale and communication (again, this could be supported with feedback from members of staff, survey evidence etc). You mention a reduction in staff absence and low turnover - comparative data or 2 or 3 years or, if this is not available, a comparison of your own stats with national averages would evidence this effectively.

A couple of case studies to show how issues have been resolved early and effectively would be helpful here. Show how you know that 'staff all feel valued and part of the whole team regardless of position'.

Collect feedback from staff about (for example) the thank you events. I'm not clear how the bonus payments linked to PDRs directly support staff wellbeing so feedback on that would be helpful.

Think about how you can show that an improvement in skills has had a direct impact on staff wellbeing (you could ask about confidence, job satisfaction etc in relation to the CPD they have received). Remember that this benchmark is specifically about worklife balance so we need to see how the switch from e-learning to onsite sessions has improved this. You could survey staff asking them to rate the difference that various changes in provision have made to worklife balance.

Your provision in this area looks good but you need to include some evidence of its effectiveness. How has it helped to improve emotional resilience and wellbeing? Case studies would be helpful again. You could also ask the therapist or SMHL to reflect on their role, including some anonymised examples of how they have suppported staff generally or individually and what the benefits have been.

You mention a staff survey here. You could include this, with notes on actions taken. Repeat it to show the impact of these changes.

Interview a senior leader and a couple of members of staff to get their feedback on the impact of the staff restructure. Include a couple of examples of where this has lead to quicker, more effective decision making with greater staff involvement.
