Overall comments
As I've already stated, I can see that you have made real efforts to improve staff wellbeing at Clare - we just need that 'so what' evidence to demonstrate impact - see my more detailed evidence above. Rebecca, I really appreciated your candour and positive approach to our discussion and I am sorry that I can't accredit you at this point but am confident that, if you wish to 're-validate' in a few months' time, you should be able to achieve the Award. I will pass on your helpful comments re. the website etc to my colleagues at Optimus.

Comments on evidence provided
As we discussed, take another look at the Measuring Impact and Success criteria for this and the other benchmarks and consider how you can best produce the 'so what' evidence we talked about. You will note, for example, that several of the benchmarks include a suggestion to conduct a questionaire - you could construct a single one that incudes questions that would evidence several of the benchmarks. Another option would be to discuss the impact of your work on relevant benchmarks with a representative group of staff and write up their feedback in terms of what has improved, what has made the difference and what could still be better. Comments on impact identified during validation
As we discussed when we met. I can see that you have done solid work to improve staff's experience - in this case for example, reviewing report writing procedures and adopting a flexible approach to suit different departments as well as assisting planning by producing a whole-year calendar. Other provision was already in place such as the relatively generous PPA time that your staff enjoy. Unfortunately, I don't have the evidence to show that your existing provision and recent developments have resulted in improvements in staff wellbeing. Please see my additional notes below regarding the evidenec provided and how this can be ammended in advance of re-validation.

You will proabably need too use more than one approach to evidence all 8 benchmarks but the suggestions included for each one should give you enough ideas. Bear in mind as well that you may already have evidence from other recent surveys (ideally conducted since you began work on the Award) to evidence some of the benchmarks.
Comments on impact identified during validation
Again, as with the previous benchmark, there is solid evidence regarding provision and improvements and I appreciate your honesty throughout about what you feel you do well and what could still be better. Again we need specific evidence of impact of these changes. This applies to the other benchmarks as well.
